(EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University's men's basketball team started the final weekend of the 2K Classic Friday, Nov. 18, with a come-from-behind win over Gardner-Webb University, 76-68, at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in the subregional, hosted by IUPUI. With the win, the Eagles (2-2) will take on the winner of the second game between IUPUI and Howard, while the Runnin' Bulldogs (0-3) will square off with the loser of that contest.
Senior Willie Mangum IV (Richmond, Va.-Marshall (San Jacinto College)) was the Eagles' leading scorer with 28 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including a 6-for-7 performance from beyond the arc.
