BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team dropped its first Mid-American Conference matchup of the 2020-21 season tonight, Dec. 11, to Bowling Green State University, 71-64, at the Stroh Center.
Despite the setback, Eastern Michigan (3-2, 1-1 MAC) matched its best five-game start under Head Coach Fred Castro, matching the 3-2 start of the 2018-19 squad.
On the court, the Eagles were led by redshirt sophomore Ce'Nara Skanes (Oklahoma City, Okla.-Putnam City West (Florida International)), who recorded her second double-double of the season with an 11-point, 10-rebound performance.
