Eagles Fall to Ball State in 88-80 Setback at Home

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team dropped a home game to Ball State University, Tuesday, Jan. 24, by a final tally of 88-80. The Eagles (12-8, 4-3 MAC) came within three in the second half, but the Cardinals (13-7, 4-3 MAC) held on for the victory.

Eastern finished 27-of-68 (39.7 percent) from the field, including a 9-of-19 mark from downtown. The Green and White forced 19 turnovers throughout the game, turning them into 10 steals and 16 points off of those Cardinal miscues. The Eagles also completed the game with eight fast break points, while Ball State finished with just two.
