DEKALB, Ill. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team defeated Northern Illinois University, 195.150-194.825, in comeback fashion Friday, Feb. 19. Eastern trailed after the third rotation, but was able to come from behind with a beam score of 48.925 to claim the Mid-American Conference victory at NIU's Convocation Center.
"We had some unexpected lineup changes tonight but I thought the team adapted well." said Head Coach Katie Minasola "They fought hard through the entire meet. We look forward to building off this performance on Sunday.
