SAN MARCOS, Texas/AUSTIN, Texas (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team wrapped up its first of three days of competition in Texas March 28, participating in the Texas Relays hosted by the University of Texas and the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State University.
The Eagles saw two top-50 finishes on their first efforts in the Lone Star State, as sophomore Kadian Clarke (Kingston, Jamaica- Immaculate Conception) and Tiffany Cernej-Garcia (Ann Arbor, Mich.-Pioneer) finished 40th and 41st in their respective events.
Clarke competed in the Discus Throw at the Bobcat Invitational, earning a 40th-place finish with a heave of 33.
