SOUTH BEND, Ind. & HILLSDALE, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team had contingents of Eagles compete at both the Meyo Invitational and Hillsdale Wide Track Classic Friday, Feb. 2.
At the Meyo Invitational, the duo of freshmen Ashleigh Simonis (Cape Town, South Africa-Melnerton) and Tarynn Cullings (Medina, Ohio-Medina) represented the Green and White in the 5000m. Simonis was EMU's top finisher, crossing the finish line in 17:36.46 en route to an 18th-place finish, while Cullings came in 28th with a time of 18:00.
