YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team clinched their first Mid-American Conference victory of the season Friday night, taking down Northern Illinois, 3-1.
Sabrina McNeill (Whitby, Ontario-Henry Street) got things started early for the Eagles, sending a laser to the top left corner to give the Eagles the lead, 1-0. This was the redshirt junior's second time in as many games scoring the first goal for the Green in White in the first 10 minutes.
Northern Illinois found the equalizer in the 33rd minute to tie the game at one before the break.
