Eagles Begin Outdoor Season with Victory Over Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team opened their 2016 outdoor campaign with a dual victory against Mid-American Conference opponent Western Michigan today, April 1. The Eagles walked away with a 109-82 win over the Broncos.

Beginning with the sprints group, the Eagles claimed event victories in both the 100m and 200m dash while claiming second in the 400m dash. Freshman Jessica Harris (Slidell, La. – Slidell) took home the 100m title, clocking in at 11.85 seconds to edge out senior Aaliyah McKinney (South Bend, Ind.
