YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team (1-3-2) tied with Youngstown State University (2-4-1), 0-0, in double overtime Sept. 13 at Farmers National Bank Field.
Redshirt junior Mabel Dunn (Oakville, Ontario-White Oaks Secondary) recorded her third career shutout and tied her career-high minutes at 110. The scoreless draw was the first for the Eagles since Oct. 16, 2016, against Kent State.
The Penguins controlled the game for the first 10 minutes, keeping the ball in their attacking half and getting two shots off. Eastern Michigan then went on the offensive, taking over possession and firing off 14 shots in the final 35 minutes of the first half.
