YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University track & field program inked another signee for the 2021-22 school year, announced Director/Head Coach Sue Parks today, May 25, in jumper Nyla Guevara (Coral Springs, Fla.-Fort Lauderdale).
"We're excited to add Nyla to our jumps group," said Associate Head Coach Sterling Roberts. "She had a great year this year, and has so much potential for future growth."
EMU has seen many Eagles succeed across the jumping events in recent years. Since 2014, members of the Green and White have captured the Mid-American Conference crown four times in both the high jump and long jump, and once in the triple jump.
