INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) - After a record-breaking performance at the Mid-American Conference Championships, Eastern Michigan University senior swimmer Delaney Duncan (Galesburg, Ill.-Galesburg) has been named a NCAA National Championship qualifier, the association announced Wednesday, March 6. Duncan's appointment makes her the first Eagle in program history to qualify for the national championships all four years of her career.
"We are so excited to see Delaney complete her outstanding career representing Eastern at the National Championships in Austin," said Head Swimming and Diving Coach Peter Linn.
Qualifying in both the 100 and 200 Breaststroke, Duncan will look to repeat her 100 Breast All-American performance when she set the then-Eastern Michigan record with a fourth-place time of 58.
