(EMUEagles.com) – The Valley of the Sun has treated the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team well over the years, and Tuesday's final round at the Loyola Intercollegiate did not stray from that tradition. Head Coach Bruce Cunningham's crew notched a 282, the second-lowest 18-hole score of the season, on the final day of competition on the par 72, 7,015-yard Palm Valley Golf Club.
Eastern finished the three-day event with a tally of 879 (299-298-282) in 18th place. Utah Valley won the team race at 21-under 843, a shot in front of Marquette.
