De Bock leads the Way as Golf Wraps Up First Tourney

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's golf team teed it up for the first time this season with the Eagles placing 14th overall at the Leadership and Golf Invitational that was played Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 16-17, at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash. Savannah de Bock (Ecaussinnes-d'enghien, Belgium/Institut de l'Enfant-Jésus-Lycée/Georgia) led the way individually as she carded a 2-under, 214 to place tied for eighth overall in her Eastern debut.

How It Happened
De Bock was the top finisher for the Eagles, who finished 14th at 906 (296-297-313), as she shot 214 that included rounds of 68, 71, and 75, to finish tied for eighth.
