Davis-Price Competes in 100m Hurdles at Olympic Trials

Eugene, Oregon (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field program was represented today, July 7, at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon. Candice Davis-Price, a volunteer assistant coach for the Eagles, competed in the 100m hurdles.

Davis-Price, who competed for Team USA at the 2008 World Indoor Championships, came up short of moving on to the next round of the 100m hurdles, placing 27th after clocking in at 13.39 seconds. Specifically, she finished fifth in a tough heat which featured the top hurdler on the day, Brianna Rollins.
