LAREDO, Texas (EMUEagles.com) – After waiting 356 days since its last competitive round, the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team will have to wait one more day to wrap up second round action at the 68th Annual Border Olympics. Darkness suspended the tournament's opening day with most teams still needing a couple holes on the par 72, 7,375 yard Laredo Country Club layout.
The Eagles opened the tournament with a team score of 304 in the morning round and stood at +28 late in the second round.
Nothing like hitting the ground running for the Eagles, as the star-studded tournament field features four top-45 teams and four of the top-100 collegiate players.
