BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University men's and women's cross country teams showcased its depth today, Sept. 3, at the Mel Brodt Open in Bowling Green, Ohio. On Bowling Green State's 5K course, both squads saw high placements from their harriers, including eight top-10 finishes across both teams.
"It was a solid day for us," said Director/Head Coach Sue Parks. "Both the men and women came away with some nice positives. It's a starting point and we hope to keep improving each week."
On the men's side, the Green and Yellow dominated BGSU and Toledo, earning a perfect score of 15 and seeing six-straight Eagles cross the finish line before any other runners.
