PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University junior Maxx Crosby (Colleyville, Texas-Colleyville Heritage) has been named to the Bednarik Award Watch List, which is presented to the College Defensive Player of the Year, the Maxwell Football Club Announced Monday, July 16.
Crosby is one of four Mid-American Conference players named to the 85-man watch list. A preseason First Team All-MAC selection by Athlon Sports, Crosby enters the 2018 campaign on the heels of a breakout season. Playing in all 12 games for the Green and White, he led the Eagles defense in sacks with 11, tying the program record.
