YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University women's track and field redshirt senior Alsu Bogdanova (Kazan, Russia-Lyceum #83) concludes her career as an Eagle at the NCAA Championships this weekend in Eugene, Ore. Bogdanova will compete in the 3000m steeplechase semifinals Thursday, June 7, at 4:30 p.m.
This will be Bogdanova's third straight trip to the outdoor championships, having qualified in the 5000m during the past two seasons. Last year, the redshirt senior finished national runner-up after racing to an impressive program-record time of 15:43.84. Additionally, her second-place finish was the highest placement since Lela V.
