SEATTLE, Wash. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team finished out its weekend with two student-athletes breaking EMU all-time records at the Husky Invite Saturday, Feb. 10 in Seattle, Wash.
A week removed from earning Mid-American Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors for nearly breaking the EMU all-time mile run record, senior Natalie Cizmas (Clinton Twp., Mich.-Chippewa Valley) finally broke the barrier with a time of 4:39.29 to etch her name at the top of the Eastern record book. The time beat her previous mark of 4:39.
