CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Two members of the Eastern Michigan University football team were recognized as Mid-American Conference West Division Players of the Week, the league office announced today, Nov. 8. Junior wide receiver Hassan Beydoun (Dearborn, Mich.-Dearborn) was named the MAC West co-Offensive Player of the Week, while sophomore defensive lineman Jose Ramirez (Lake Alfred, Fla.-Auburndale-Arizona-Riverside City) earned MAC West Defensive Player of the Week honors.
It marks the first time Beydoun has collected the award as he shares the honor with Northern Illinois' Trayvon Rudolph. Meanwhile, Ramirez earned the accolade for the second time in his career.
