CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University diving senior Bethany Berger (Batavia, Ohio-Glen Este) has been named the Mid-American Conference Diver of the Week, the league announced today, Feb. 24.
This is the third MAC Diver of the Week accolade for the senior this season, winning in back-to-back weeks, Feb. 3 and 10.
At the UB Diving Invite, Feb. 19-20, Berger finished first in both the preliminary and final rounds of 1-meter diving, recording a score of 307.15 in the prelims and a career-best 310.30 in the finals. The following day on 3-meter, Berger remained competitive, finishing second in both rounds of competition.
