LEXINGTON, Ky. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior diver Bethany Berger (Batavia, Ohio-Glen Este) punched her ticket to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on the first day of the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships, March 7, at the Lancaster Aquatic Center.
Finishing in sixth place in both the preliminary and final rounds of 1-meter diving, Berger scored 279.05 in the prelims and finished with an overall score of 551.10 to secure her bid as one the seven qualifiers from Zone C. The senior becomes the 15th NCAA Championship qualifier in program history, and ninth from the diving side.
