The Eastern Michigan baseball teams' magical run fell short in the MAC Championship game in Avon, Ohio against the Ohio Bobcats on Sunday in a 7-4 loss.
The Eagles needed to defeat the Bobcats twice on Sunday to obtain the championship due to the tournament being a double elimination tournament. The Eagles went into the game as the number three seed compared to the number five seeded Ohio Bobcats.
Junior pitcher Brad Allen got the start for the Eagles as he surrendered a single run in his first seven innings pitching, but gave up three in the eighth.
