CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — For the second consecutive year, the Eastern Michigan University baseball team was tabbed to finish seventh in the preseason Mid-American Conference coaches' poll, the league office announced Thursday, Feb. 13.
In a mirror result from the 2018 preseason poll, Kent State was picked to finish on top of the MAC with 98 points, including eight of the 10 possible first-place votes. Ball State came in at the No. 2 selection with 88 total points, while Miami, Central Michigan, and Toledo rounded out the top five, respectively. Filling out the final five spots, Ohio, EMU, Western Michigan, Northern Illinois, and Bowling Green completed the poll, respectively.
