KALAMAZOO, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – After thumping its in-state rival and Mid-American Conference foe, Western Michigan University, 9-4, yesterday, March 27, it was the Broncos who returned the favor to the Eastern Michigan University baseball team today, March 28. WMU put up 10 hits to secure an 8-1 victory in game two of the four-game set between the schools inside Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field.
The loss moves Eastern (7-8, 3-3 MAC) back to even in its league ledger.
Although a pair of seven-inning games was originally on today's schedule, inclement weather in Kalamazoo forced the teams to push the doubleheader back until tomorrow.
