YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team mustered 10 runs of offense, but could not outpace its competition from the University of Akron, as the Zips defeated the Eagles, 14-10, inside Oestrike Stadium today, April 18. The midweek matchup between league foes does not count towards conference records.
Eastern Michigan (16-18, 6-12 MAC) notched its 20th game of the season with 10+ hits, but could not outlast Akron (14-22, 6-12 MAC), which picked up its second win over the Eagles this season. All told, EMU finishes the regular season with a 3-2 tally against the Zips.
