FORT WORTH, Texas. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan baseball team left Lupton Stadium disappointed, as it dropped game two of its three game set with No. 20 TCU, 16-4, Saturday, March 16.
Despite a more balanced offensive attack in game two of the series, EMU (3-15-1) was unable to outlast the Horned Frogs, again falling victim to the powerful TCU offense. In all, Eastern surrendered 16 runs on 21 hits in the Saturday soirée. Falling behind in the first inning, 5-0, the Eagles were yet again tasked with overcoming a deficit, one which proved too large in the eventual setback.
