BELGRADE, Serbia (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University track & field saw junior Baldvin Magnusson (Akureyri, Iceland-Hull University) impress in the first round of the men's 3000m race at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships, where he advanced to the finals today, March 18.
"I'm so happy for Vinny, to go to your first major championship and make the final is an impressive feat," said Assistant Coach Mark Rinker. "He put himself in position to make the final and fought all the way. I'm excited for him -- now we are on to the final on Sunday!
