Andrew Henry Breaks School Record in 200 IM at NCAA Championships

ATLANTA (EMUEagles.com) - Senior swimmer Andrew Henry (Garner, N.C.-West Johnston) swam his first of three events at the NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday, March 24, breaking a school record in the process. The first Eagle to compete this week, Henry claimed 29th in the 200 Individual Medley.

Coming into the race with a seeded time of 1:45.69 that ranked second in EMU laurels, Henry shaved off more than half of a second in the prelims. Touching in with a time of 1:45.15, Henry broke the school record, previously held by Jacob Hanson.
