The East Carolina University women’s tennis team capped off an excellent fall season this weekend at the Kitty Harrison Invitational in Chapel Hill.
The Pirates finished with a combined record of 3-5 in doubles and an excellent 12-5 record in singles matches. ECU had to compete without junior standout Celia Ruiz, who competed at the Oracle ITA National Fall Invitational Championships in California, after she received the first At-Large bid in ECU history to the event.
In their doubles matches, the Pirates finished 1-2 against the College of William & Mary and The University of Maryland, while finishing 1-1 against The University of Michigan.
