The East Carolina University women’s basketball team beat South Carolina State University on Friday with a final score of 71-63 in the last game of the Carolinas Challenge.
ECU ended the tournament with a 2-0 record, and now have a four-game winning streak. During the first half, ECU shot 36.4 percent from the field and shot 5-for-10 from three, scoring 34 points in those 20 minutes. Junior guard Raven Johnson had 11 points and sophomore Ariyana Williams scored 12 points.
