Shawn Williams, a point guard from Southwest Christian Academy (Maumelle AR), has verbally committed to play basketball at East Carolina. Williams was at the ECU football game against Towson and talked to coaches and players from the basketball team. Williams was hosted by BJ Tyson for his official visit. When talking to Tyson, Williams was told that they could do good things at ECU. Before he went to the football game on Saturday, Williams was able to scrimmage with some of the players. “We were running through everybody,” said Williams. “It was cool to possibly be playing with my future teammates.
