Sunday, the Pirates looked to get back on track against the Owls to avoid losing their sixth game in a row.
The first set looked good for the Pirates early, but the errors ended up costing the team key points which could have been used to help them win the set. The Owls took advantage of the errors and ended up winning the set 25-16.
The second set started off like it did in the first set, but this time the Pirates’ defense was unable to finish off the Owls at the end. The Pirates stayed close to the Owls, only allowing the them to go up three points before getting possession back.
