Courtesy of ecupirates.comThe East Carolina University volleyball team will be traveling to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to take on Spring Hill College, Alcorn State University and The University of Southern Mississippi in the Southern Miss Classic.
Their first game of the tournament, as well as the season, will be against Spring Hill on Friday at noon. Spring Hill is an unfamiliar competitor, having never faced the Pirates in the team’s history, and was put in the tournament after another team backed out last minute.
Statistically, Spring Hill seems to have lined up evenly with their competitors in the past, however, they play in Division II.
