The American Athletic Conference hasn’t been able to solve Notre Dame this season, but the eighth-ranked Fighting Irish has had to work to accomplish a 2-0 record against the AAC.
The Irish’s latest blow to the league was Saturday night’s 24-20 win at Temple, a victory on primetime TV that featured a ND touchdown pass with 2:09 remaining for the decisive score. It was Temple’s first loss, and fellow American team Navy is 6-1 with its only setback a 41-24 defeat in South Bend, Ind., on Oct. 10.
Notre Dame’s win against the Owls gave the Irish a 7-1 record with its only loss to No.
