Head coach Matthew Jabs and the East Carolina University swim and dive team are preparing for their first competitive meet of the season when they go on the road against Navy on Friday in what is their first dual meet of the season.
Last year when the team competed against Navy, both the men’s and women’s teams lost. The men’s final score was 170-128, while the women ended up falling 185-111. Out of the 33 total events, the Pirates brought home just 11 victories, and were doubled up by the Midshipmen. Six out of those 11 wins came from the women’s team while five came from the men’s team.
