The East Carolina University softball team finished the Florida Atlantic University/Florida International University Parents’ Weekend Tournament on Sunday, going 2-3 for the weekend. The competition proved tough for the Pirates and sent them into a three game losing streak.
The weekend consisted of five games from Friday to Sunday. The Pirates (13-9) took on Long Island University (13-8) and FAU (12-11) in a double header on Friday in Boca Raton, Florida. On Saturday ECU took on Florida A&M (5-9) and FIU (17-8) in a double header in Miami, Florida. The last game of the weekend was against the University of Notre Dame (13-7) on Sunday back in Boca Raton, Florida.
