The East Carolina University men’s basketball team lost its fourth straight American Athletic Conference game in a row on Saturday, as the team fell to the University of South Florida 77-57 after a second-half explosion from the Bulls.
The Pirates (8-11, AAC 1-6) started the game hot, cruising to a 19-6 lead after eight minutes of play, but the Bulls rallied to finish the half behind four straight threes made by sophomore guard Justin Brown. USF (14-6, AAC 4-4) went on to outscore the Pirates 23-15 in the final 10 minutes of the half to take a 36-34 halftime lead.
