Rutgers hands men’s basketball team their third loss

East Carolina University was overmatched in almost every category in its first away game this season as Rutgers University (6-0) rolled onto a 61-47 in Piscataway, New Jersey on Friday night.

The biggest problem for the Pirates, who have struggled early this season, were their continuous turnover problems. Every player on ECU turned it over at least one time except for K.J Davis, who played just two minutes, and Dimitri Spasojevic. By the end of the game, the team totalled 19 turnovers to Rutgers’ seven.

Guard Isaac Fleming, who led the team with five turnovers, continued to showcase his ability to attack the basket and score, putting up 14 points while making half his shots, 5-10.
