East Carolina University’s women’s basketball team fell to 10-10 and 2-5 in the American Athletic Conference last night when it came up short in New Orleans, Louisiana against Tulane University (11-9, 3-4 AAC), 64-58.
The Pirates had many opportunities to win as they were within single digits the entire game. However, according to head coach Heather Macy, ECU was unable to capitalize on the big plays that would have helped it win the game.
“Ultimately, we just didn't make the big play when we needed one, whether it was getting it inside and finishing, or the ability to get the big stop,” Macy said.
