Pitcher Evan Kruczynski, coach Cliff Godwin and East Carolina are confident heading into this weekend’s baseball series at defending national champion Virginia.
The Pirates (4-0) are also motivated, stemming at least in part from the fourth-ranked Cavaliers (3-1) carrying a nine-game win streak against ECU into today’s 3 p.m contest. Of those nine wins, Virginia was ranked in the top five on all but two occasions.
This ECU team, which has scored a total of 36 runs in its four games, is aiming to stop the skid against the Cavs.
