In the four years ECU (6-7, 0-2 AAC) has been part of the AAC, the Pirates have started conference play 0-2 three times. UCF (10-4, 1-1 AAC) didn’t overwhelm the Pirates, but it’s ability to make the open shot made all the difference. Forward A.J. Davis was the difference maker for the Knights, recording a double-double with game-highs in points, 17, and rebounds, 10.
