ECU enters the game with a 10-9, 2-4 AAC record after coming off its thrilling 80-78 overtime win against the University of Houston (15-6, 4-3 AAC) after freshman guard Necole Hope hit the game winning layup with 11 seconds remaining in the game, resulting in her receiving her first career AAC honor roll mention, that is a weekly accolade given to athletes performing well on and off the court.
