The Pirates (7-7, 1-2 AAC) trailed for most of the game and found themselves down by as many as 10 points in the second half. Led by guards Isaac Fleming's 12-point second half and Kentrell Barkley's team-high 16 points, ECU fought its way back into the game and trailed by just one with two minutes remaining.
