The East Carolina University (2-2, 0-1 AAC) football team pulled off a 19-7 win over the College of William and Mary (2-2, 0-0 CAA) on Saturday inside Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium to even its record at 2-2.
“I figured this game was going to be about like this. That’s the thing that we talked about in there is: would this team have won this game last year, I don’t know,” head coach Mike Houston said. “I think it shows a lot of maturity, it shows a lot of pulling for each other and sticking together because they never panicked on the sideline.
