Injuries and fatigue will truly challenge the depth of your team, as the Pirates have had to call on many reserves to step up and produce.

“I couldn’t think of a better word than crucial [for the bye]. Everybody can get healed up a little bit,” ECU head coach Ruffin McNeill said. “We still monitor the older guys, but to get those three days away, it was crucial.
