The East Carolina University baseball team rallied from a 2-0 deficit today to defeat the College of Charleston at home, 5-2.
The first game that was scheduled for yesterday between between No. 19 ECU (9-3) and Charleston (10-3), but was cancelled due to rain in Greenville. It was decided then that the game would not be made up, but today game would still take place at the regularly scheduled time.
The Cougars wasted no time getting on the board when senior infielder Luke Morgan belted his third home run of the season, a two-run shot to right field, scoring junior second baseman Dupree Hart and himself for a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
