The East Carolina University men’s golf team traveled to Raleigh, NC Monday, in hopes of bringing the Pirates back-to-back titles in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate.
ECU’s very own Tim Conover was the lone bright spot for the Pirates finishing fourth in the tournament.
The two day tournament, took place at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the Centennial Campus of NC State University.
Play was 36 continuous holes with the third and final round on Tuesday. ECU tied fifth with Maryland out of the 14 teams, shooting 7-over par over the course of the match. NC State claimed the team title by two strokes over the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, finishing at 16-under par.
