Under interim head coach Michael Perry, the East Carolina University men’s basketball team has now won two straight games with a 63-57 victory over the Delaware State University Hornets last night.
ECU got off to a great start for the first time since since its season opener back on Nov. 12 against Coppin State University. The Pirates lead 10-2 early against Delaware State and lead by as much as eight points, thanks to forward Kentrell Barkley starting off the game 2-for-2 from the field scoring the first six points for ECU. The Hornets bounced back into the game to even the score at 21-21 with three minutes and 54 seconds left in the half.
