East Carolina basketball coach Jeff Lebo said after Tuesday’s loss to South Florida that he does not say much to his team in the locker room after games because he wants to watch the tape before passing judgement on his club.
Lebo could not have liked much of what he saw in ECU’s 69-52 defeat in Minges Coliseum.
South Florida won its third American Athletic Conference road game of the season, and extended the Pirates’ losing streak to five consecutive games on a night when ECU’s offense struggled in a way it hasn’t for several weeks. The loss drops East Carolina (10-16, 2-11 AAC) into sole possession of last place in the league, switching places with USF (6-21, 3-11).
